A Day of Chill

Did NOTHING today-- Went to the Therme. Strolled the Christmas Market in Erding in the rain and just finished up dinner.

Ahhh just like church festivals.. We bought a raffle ticket to win a car or some Gluehwein from the Kiwanas fellow at the Christmas market (we won neither). Listened to a cool brass band play German Christmas carols too.

BTW:  We got an incredible deal for our package here--- all told this stop is cheaper than a couple of nights in Downtown Cincy.. and the food and bier ist besser hier!

Got all of our USD changed over to Euro (actually the real reason we stopped here) We spent HALF as much for these 2 nights, food and, Therme in Germany as US bank wanted to charge us to convert our dollars to Euro in cincy. It pays to do your homework!

We are VERY excited about tomorrow.

We leave here at 8:45a. Walk to the SBahn station to catch our city bus to the airport. Our flight leaves at 11:50, but we have to pick up our bags and hike over to terminal 1 for Al Italia to Roma then to EE.

We get into EE at 4:30pmish and head right to the apartment. We will get our bearings, go to the grocery and then get online to fill you all in!
